Just the new formatting of the offerIDs should be enough to start games by URI. (Edit: I realized I had forgotten to test just launching the URI through Windows - and that works, too, so it doesn't need to be explicitly passed to EALauncher.exe. I haven't figured out where those various IDs and parameters are being sourced from, however.
Although I have downloaded the game completely and played for few hours, the app keeps showing that the game is not downloaded yet, everyday.so everyday I have to spend hours on downloading games more than 30 gb.EALauncher.exe (in the same folder as the main EA Desktop executable) can be used to launch games (including automatically starting EA Desktop, if it's not running already) by passing an origin2:// URI to it, but the formatting of the offerIds parameter seems to have changed from Origin.įor example, from what I can tell the URI constructed by Playnite for Dead Space is origin2://game/launch/?offerIds=DR:105641400 (I might be wrong - this was from a glance at the code only), but the new URI used to launch via EA Desktop (stripped of everything that doesn't seem absolutely necessary - EA Desktop spits out an error with any less) is origin2://game/launch/?offerIds=1002975,1003943,1009227,1009228,deadspace_na,deadspace_eu1,deadspace_eu2,deadspace_eu3. EA app keeps me logging out after every session, everyday. I am a new gamer, got 8 months xbox game pass, downloaded need for speed heat via EA desktop app and everything is going miserably wrong with the ea launcher. Often (50% - 99%) With the old Origin app (that worked perfectly fine, thanks for the forced 'upgrade' EA), I could be completely disconnected from the internet, and still launch Sims 4. How can we have such broad differences When it comes to any other launcher (Steam, ) I dont struggle at all with speeds. If I try to launch Sims 4 with Steam and the EA (cr)app in offline mode, it does the same thing.
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) hn Slow download using the new EA Desktop app but why My current download is flopping around between 7MB/s and 11MB/s while a friend is getting anywhere from 50MB/s to 70MB/s.
